What a way to end August and start September !
We decided to go as a family for a weekend to the Drakensberg with a group of old school friends - the guys were to go off road biking in the mountains and the girls were taking the kids horse riding and generally just mellowing out.
The guys left for their ride at 07h30 and were all excited, never the less to say that by 09h30 Aaron had fallen just over 2 stories in height down a ravine and into a dry river bed.

The guys left for their ride at 07h30 and were all excited, never the less to say that by 09h30 Aaron had fallen just over 2 stories in height down a ravine and into a dry river bed.
We took him to a local hospital in the area where they stabilized him and took x-rays - we arranged for an ambulance to take him up to JHB where he spend 2 weeks in hospital and 4 weeks later he is still recovering ! He has 5 broken ribs down his back and they drained over 3 liters of fluid off his chest. We recon he will be up and around after about 6 weeks.
The monday after Aaron's accident, Hudson fell out a tree and snapped his wrist through the growth plate and was admitted to Sunninghill. They operated and put wire through this wrist and he has been in plaster now for 4 weeks - they take the cast off and wire out on Friday so he is very excited.
Thank goodness there are only 30 days in September !

What a crazy month for you!! At least you had one good thing going for you and your family...ME!! Seeing as though it was my birthday in September! (OK, just because I was born on Friday 13th, don't blame me for anything!)
