Judo Boy

Campbell was selected to fight for Bryanston Primary interschools judo competition.

Last year was our first ever interschools and Bryanston walked away with the cup for every grade.

This year Campbell fought for grade 1 and did very well !

He won all 3 of his fights (most were within a minute of the fight starting) and the grade 1's won the cup for their league again (it was almost the same team as 2007 when they were in grade 0 so we are hoping that we carry this through to next year as well)

He goes to a 2 day judo clinic next week where he should get his 4th orange stripe and then next year he can go for his orange belt. He is really enjoying it right now and of he sticks to it, he could go to the provincial trials when he is in grade 3.

He got another gold medal and was VERY chuffed with himself.

The old toothless grin was shown to everyone !
