Johanneburg is having so much rain lately I feel like I am living in Cape Town ! I must say that although we are all moaning about it, I do enjoy it - its refreshing and inspiring.
On Friday the water tower behind our school burst a value and flooded the top half of the school - the pool was so full that you couldnt see the side of the pool (see above), the tennis courts were full of mud and the grade 1 area was also flooded.
No one was hurt but we were asked to fetch the kids as a precaution as they were scared that the actual water tower would go. All very exciting with fire engines etc.
But as a cat life is very different..............................
Minky is in her element - what does a cat (or more likely a human) do in the rain.............

Drink Sherry
Cuddle up with a friend (note the M on her forehead)

She is very cute and we are just LOVING having her. She literally follows me around when I am home during the day (avoiding the dogs at all costs) and is starting to venture out into the garden as well. She gives a funny little cry when she is excited and then runs up to you.
She is a little TOO active at night (usually around 4 am) and has taken a liking to Aarons toes !
