Our first week was spent in Disney World and it was a whirlwind week !
We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort which was simple but perfect. We had booked park hoppers and all meals so it worked out perfectly.
We did SO many rides and I eventually lost my voice by the second day from screaming on the rides and spent the rest of the week croaking my way around.
The boys had an absolute ball. From the rocking roller coaster, to breakfast with the Winnie the Pooh gang, to the haunted house, to the Swiss family Robinson island to discovering funnel cake and so much more.
The boys got to design and make their own remote control cars which they were so chuffed with. They built them from scratch and got to test them on the "race" course.
We went to dinner at Prime Time which is a 50's restaurant and you get to have "moms home cooked meal". All the decor is from the 50's and they shout at you if you put your elbows on the table etc.During dinner Campbell went to talk to the waiter and at the end of the meal the waiter announced that there was a family from SA there and that their boys wanted to thank their parents for their trip to the USA. It was just the sweetest thing ever and I was given a Disney World card and Campbell was given a fast free pass for any ride - he chose a ride we had been trying to get on all week but even the fast pass had a waiting time of over an hour. With this ticket we got in within 15 minutes and had a great time. A very special memory I will treasure forever.
We ate ourselves silly and I think if I see another Mickey Mouse waffle, it will be too soon.
We had a awesome time and created memories that will last forever.
