This weekend was Campbell's birthday and he had 3 friends for a sleep over on Friday night and he decided to play paint ball for his party on Saturday.
We have found a really nice place out in Fourways that is in a pine forest so I booked there and we had an awesome time.
They are very funny to watch as they want to shoot but are too scared to come out of their cover in case they get shot so the start of the game they hide and just shoot randomly over the cover.
By the end they have plucked up the courage to run between covers and shoot. I bought extra paint balls as they were going through them like anything.
There were a few injuries but nothing serious and "war" wounds are always cool to show off later once the tears have stopped.
The traditional home party (as it is now called) took place in the afternoon and the weather was good to us although there was a bit of thunder and lighting that we had to haul the kids out the pool for but it didn't last too long. They had a great time on the slide again and the adults chilled and watch rugby.
Sunday Campbell opened his presents and was SO chuffed to get his long awaited ipod. He has desperately wanted one so was so excited when he opened it and saw what he had. He also got a cricket bat a few days before (we are still waiting for the 6 to be hit although there have been a few 4's which was great).
I bought him chappies chewing gum which he just loves and a book.
We headed off to spur for lunch which was a short one as everyone was just so tired from the weekend and then home to study as he was writing Maths the next day (terrible thing to have to do on your birthday !)
