We all met at our place, skottles and boeries rolls packed - we decided that seeing we were in Bulls country we may as take on the normal traditions and pack and braai.
We got there early and set up our little laager, started the braais and the boys took to the field with their rugby ball. The girls took their champagne, cuppachino's and ferror roches - there is a limit to all things !
The boys ran wild around the fields and by the time we headed off to the stadium they looked like they had already played a game !
It was a good game and having Lions and Blue Bulls supporters within the group made it more interesting. From grumpy faces to cheers when their teams scored was funny to watch. Campbell was a little lost as he supports the Sharks but decided to support the Lions as his friends were (and it cheased his brother off !)
My best was when the song "Kaptein" came on and the stadium broke out in song - the boys were a little camera shy !
Thank goodness the Bulls won as we would have had quite a few grumpy faces - although we did have that on the Lions side !
It was a great evening and we all had great fun - we headed back to the cars and waited for all the traffic to finish before heading home.
Definately going to be doing that again as the boys loved it.
