Sports Awards

At the end of every year our school has sports awards which the boys always look forward to.

This year Hudson was awarded most dedicated player for rugby which he was very chuffed with.  He has worked hard this year at his rugby and has improved.  After the season ended they started sevens rugby and although he wasn't chosen for the team, he asked to train with them for fitness - he was so committed to it that they gave him a place on the team and he took part in the seven a side festival at Jeppe.

We met their new rugby coach for Saints at the sports evening as he was a guest speaker and guess what....... he is a Blue Bulls former coach !  I don't think it was for the actual Blue Bulls but one of their junior teams and their sevens team so Hudson is delighted - he will be having a genuine Blue Bull training him !

He introduced himself and is looking forward to rugby next year.

Campbell received his awards in their last assembly.  He was awarded sportsmanship for rugby, most dedicated player for hockey and also received a medal for winning the U10 rugby league this year.

He was really chuffed as he just loves his rugby !  He is SO motivated for next year and wants to start training now !

Well done to my boys - very proud of you both.
