We just had THE most amazing storm - it has been overcast for most of the day and from about 16h00 this arvi we starting hearing rumbling from the sky and the clouds started gathering.
Suddenly the heavens opened and it started raining, so, we thought nothing of it until the rain stopped and the hail began. The boys and I raced to the jungle gym and back to see who would be hit and how sore it would be (I was hit twice on the head) but the hail was small so it was fun.
We got back in time for the miniature golf balls to come crashing down !
Campbell was messing around and got caught, and it looked like he was running through a driving range. Mia broke any world record for the fastest cat through hail - ears flat for wind dynamics - and didn't stop till she was safely under my bed.
Once it was all over we ran around collecting the hail.
What fun ! We are all wet and are heading off for a nice hot bath.
