Tim in town

Tim was out for the weekend from Australia on business so we were really chuffed when he agreed to stay with us.

The last time we saw them was in April and although it wasn't the whole family, it was great to catch up again. Friday night Tim went through to his sister for supper before coming across to us and when he did arrive, we ended up chatting till 2 in the morning.

Saturday evening we had arranged a surprise 40th for Tim as there are a few of us in SA that wont make it across for his 40th in Aussie next week.

We went through to Luca's again and met up with a few of his other friends. It was a great evening and everyone had a great time chatting and catching up. It wasn't too much of a late night but we all had a swim when we got home and headed off to bed.

On Sunday we decided to take a drive out to the Rhino and Lion park for the day. Our timing was perfect as we got there in time to grab some cool drinks and head out to the lion, wild dog and cheetah feeding.

We then headed back to the restaurant for lunch. We walked around for a bit and the boys wanted to go in and play with the white tigers.

I went with them and managed to get bitten !

Nothing serious but a nice little puncture wound in my arm - it was sore enough so I would hate to know what being mauled by one would feel like !

On the way to the restaurant they were getting ready for a snake show so the boys and Tim had their photos taken with the python - I stayed far away thanks and Aaron wasn't too keen on a photo either.

We had a lekka lunch then headed off home - both boys passed out in the back of the car.

Aaron dropped Tim off at his hotel and the boys are already missing him.
